TELTONIKA TELEMEDIC WINS NATIONAL STANDARDIZATION PRIZE
Teltonika Telemedic was awarded in the competition of “National Standardization Prize 2021” in Progressive Company’s category, organized by the Lithuanian Standards Board.
Teltonika Telemedic was awarded in the competition of “National Standardization Prize 2021” in Progressive Company’s category, organized by the Lithuanian Standards Board.
Tomas Motuzas, Head of Product Owners Department, and Aistė Simokaitienė, QMS and certification specialist, who prepared the application for the competition, have accepted the award.
The annual competition is organized for the occasion of World Standards Day. The competition aims to promote interest in standardization and standards‘ application by spreading the best practices of the winners of the contest. The applications received are assessed by the committee formed by the representatives of the business and academic community, as well as by Lithuanian Standards Board members.
“We are proud to receive this award as it confirms our progressivity in developing the overall work process and creation of new products. Teltonika Telemedic is expanding the range of products developed by Teltonika IoT group into the field of medical devices, so to ensure their safety and quality, a quality management system for medical devices is currently being implemented in accordance with the ISO 13485: 2016 standard.
According to external auditors, our integrated quality management system is one of the most effective in Lithuania, but for us, it is only the beginning. Quality management is not a fixed goal, but the process of managing and improving an organization’s culture, which in turn becomes focused on global and continuous improvement”, - commented Tomas Motuzas.
