6-lead medical-grade electrocardiogram characterizes with high precision and sensitivity in distinguishing atrial fibrillation from other arrhythmias ensuring that no potential heart-damaging heart palpitations will be left undiagnosed.

WHAT IS 6-LEAD ECG?

6-lead ECG can be described as the process when the smartwatch records six medical-grade graphics giving accurate data about your heart condition. There are three electrical heart sensors/electrodes: on the backside of the watch touching the wrist, top part of the screen for the finger and electrode on the belt for the belly contact.

In contrast with other wearables in the market generating 1-lead electrocardiogram, our smartwatch records six derivations, three physical and three calculated. For a medical professional, it gives a reliable view of heart health and atrial fibrillation exposures.

6-LEAD VS. 1-LEAD ECG

A standard 12-lead ECG is the key tool in the diagnosis of AF, yet it is only available within healthcare settings and can be measured by the professional staff. One of the limitations the ECG monitoring technique relates to the limited ability to characterize AF burden (the longest duration, number of AF episodes during a monitoring period). In other words, the problem arises when a patient visits the doctor and ECG does not display any disorders because, at the very moment, there were no symptoms detected that can come and go at any time.
